Handcrafted Vintage Locomotive Hardwood Wall Art – Maple, Walnut & Purpleheart

Bring the character of the steam era together with the natural beauty of hardwood in this one-of-a-kind handcrafted locomotive wall art from Custom Canela Crafts.

The centerpiece features an intricately detailed vintage steam locomotive traveling through an old-world town, laser engraved directly into solid maple. Rising steam, architecture, trees, stonework and railroad details give the scene depth and create a dramatic focal point.

The engraved maple centerpiece is surrounded by rich purpleheart and walnut, creating a bold contrast between the naturally light maple and the deep colors of the surrounding hardwoods. A solid maple outer frame completes the design.

The colors you see come from the natural beauty of the different hardwood species — the purpleheart provides its naturally distinctive purple tones while walnut adds rich, dark contrast.

This piece is 100% handmade. Each piece of hardwood was individually cut, fitted, glued, sanded, engraved and finished by hand to create a piece of wall art designed to showcase both detailed engraving and the natural character of real wood.

At approximately 19" tall × 14" wide, it makes a substantial statement without overwhelming the room and works beautifully in an office, study, living room, den, train room or as a unique gift for a railroad or history enthusiast.

This is the exact handcrafted piece shown in the photos — there is only one.

Where nature becomes art.
