Our Story

Custom Canela Crafts was created from a love of woodworking, natural hardwoods, and making pieces that feel personal.

Each piece is handcrafted one at a time, with careful attention given to the wood, grain, details, and finish. I work with a variety of hardwoods including walnut, maple, cherry, purpleheart, and other distinctive species, allowing the natural character of the wood to become part of every design.

My work ranges from detailed laser-engraved hardwood art and home décor to personalized serving boards, gifts, and custom pieces created around a customer's own ideas, memories, and photographs.

The name Custom Canela Crafts comes from Canela, one of our dogs and a special part of our family. She became part of the identity behind the business and represents the personal, family-driven approach I want the brand to have.

I don't mass-produce my work. Pieces are built, engraved, sanded, finished, and inspected individually in my workshop. Natural variations in color and grain mean that even when a design is repeated, no two pieces of wood are exactly alike.
